"Some machines are built to do a little bit of everything. This one was built to do exactly one thing, in the mid-90s, that one thing was the dancefloor.

Before the Orbit, E-Mu had been chasing real instruments: strings, pianos, upright bass, the works. Then they took all that sampling power and aimed it somewhere completely different, and out came the first module made purely for dance music. Techno, house, and a couple of genres you might not expect.

In this one I get into where it came from, what it actually sounds like as you move through the banks, and how I hooked it up to a sequencer to start putting a groove together. And then...
