Katla Field Notes is a series of long-form improvisations on Katla, a polyphonic synthesizer inspired by its namesake, Iceland's largest subglacial volcano.
Recorded at Kleifarvatn, August 2026. Direct out from Katla into Zoom H6, no processing beyond a touch of limiting.
Katla is made by Genki Instruments in Reykjavík. Second batch of 100 units now available."
