AMYboard upgraded: Juno-style sound design with one knob
video upload by voltryx
"My AMYboard needed more hands-on control, so I added a rotary encoder, an OLED screen and a custom MicroPython UI.
In this follow-up, I walk through the hardware, my reinforced 3D-printed Eurorack panel, and two experiments: a three-channel preset explorer using built-in sounds and converted DX7 SysEx patches, and a Juno-style sound-design interface.
Full disclosure: I used Claude and mpremote to develop and upload the code directly to the board.
Want the STL for the panel? Let me know in the comments.
