The sky can't see

"I don't even know anymore. I haven't written anything in over a month, and that was after losing my dog. We adopted a new dog, Coco. She's a nut... But I don't feel like me. I don't want to write music or write my book. I think I just know it'll never be heard/read/seen/etc... maybe just shallow, you know?

And then, my kids... I feel like our lives are just passing us by and I'm barely conscious for it. Everything is moving too fast and I can't catch it, I can't hold it.

I want to slow down, to be there with them, to connect, but it all happens so fast.

Well, anyway, I did a trade - I traded my SK-30, Prophet 600, and OB-6 for my old PEK (I traded this for some other gear too)... and I think I'm glad I did. I really like the Poly Evolver Keyboard. And playing this confirmed it for me. It's a really nice synth. I think I connect with it more than I ever did the OB-6. Maybe that's weird? I don't know. I have been absent from my music for so long, I don't even know what any of it means anymore.
