The Picnic Synth Video: MODULATRONICATRON 7000 (first look)

Uploaded on Feb 3, 2008 MILQUETOASTE·76 videos

"Glitcher mothership. The CD4046 testbed finally found a home, in this handy portable case!

Includes 555/556 'APC' oscillator for added 'thingy'. Oh, and 2 dual opamp LED faders, 2 CD4040 binary counters, a 741 VCF and logic clocks.

Battery holder, line power supply and knobs on the way.

You might remember the Picnic Synth from this post.

It's currently up on Etsy.

"It's not too late to join the picnic synth revolution, with the MODULATRONICATRON X-7000

Yes you heard right! Don't be left in the dust this summer/fall/winter, sitting at home playing with something digital while all the cool kids in town are waxing glitchy and riding cubic waves of analog squarewave synthiness.

Features built in power supply, secured via the miracle of VELCRO, as well as a battery pack big enough to synth through even the most demanding camping/picnical situations. Onboard speaker, audio output jack, and various knobs and switches conspire to broadcast the impression that this picnic synthesist is not to be trifled with. Excellent aleatronic functionality, when and where it's needed; 24 hours a day, every step of the mile. Includes secret sandwich compartment under secret door covered in pathetic technical scrawlings to deter even the most ravenous reader."
