narcomedusae - arduino sequencer for modular synthesizers

Published on Nov 20, 2012 by startwav
"this is a diy project to build a sequencer for my modular synth using an arduino mega as a controller. it is an ongoing project and is intended as an educational experience, not a commercial project. the original concept was a sequencer i designed in reaktor based on an ernst haeckel drawing. it is essentially a 12 step sequencer with each step (I -XII) representing a note in the chromatic scale. The controls allow the user to play phrases within a selected scale and constrained to a certain number of notes, beats and measures. At the same time, a user can alternate between two notes using a 4 bit binary counter."
