"Vil du med" - on Böhm Station One

YouTube via organfairy

"This is so 80's....!

The song, the keyboard, the workstation, even the pant suit is from the 80's!

The song "Vil du med" was performed by Birthe Kjær at the local Danish Eurovision Song Contest in 1986 where it came in second. The winner was "Du er fuld af løgn" by Trax - but that's another story.
Here I perform the melody on a Böhm workstation with a GEM DSK-7 as keyboard controller.

And apparantly I am being bodysnatched by a giant pink flower from outer space.... "

"Ein Indiojunge aus Peru" - on Technics SX-C600

YouTube via organfairy
"I remember this German schlager from my childhood. Though not in the original version performed by Katja Ebstein. I know it as "En indianer fra Peru" which is the Danish title and it was performed by Birthe Kjær who is probably known primarily for "Vi maler byen rød" - the Danish song in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989.
The melody is here played on the analog Technics organ while the background runs on a PC based sequencer.
And sorry about the pink hat.......I just had a really bad hair day..."

Ding-a-Dong on Yamaha Electone HX-3

YouTube via Tonneman.
"The original song 'Ding-a-Dong' was performed by the Dutch group 'Teach-in' on the Eurovision song contest in 1975, which they won.

In this video I play the song on a Yamaha organ, the Electone HX-3. This instrument was first released in 1987 and mainly uses FM-voices (some AWM voices).

All you hear is played in one take on the HX-3. No other instruments or equipment are involved. Drums are programmed in the HX-3's internal sequencer."
