When I discontinued Urano for the first time, I was stupid and selling my own Urano. Last weekend I managed to finish a new Urano for myself :)
After playing with it for a week, I realized how much I love its dual filter with drive, and I decided to try to engineer this design a bit further.

This test design has lot of character and LPF, BPF and allpass modes.

Tuesday Night Machines Reverb

"Running a sequence through the TTNMverb filter board, made by my friend at Tuesday Night Machines. The sound is made by a sawtooth oscillator going through a Urano VCF52 analog filter. The cutoff frequency of the filter is modulated by the output of the reverb and by an envelope. The decay time and the envelope amount are modulated by 2 different random generators.

Showing the LFO modulating two analog filters, and then showing an Oscillator. 15 draw waves can be stored for each preset. "Gotharman's Urano modular synthesizer in a box plays with a bunch of Eurorack modules ... also inside a box :D The Eurorack system plays a drone from the TuBaZ vacuum tube module, through an FX Aid XL's vowel filter. Modulation comes form Cutelab's Missed Opportunities and the Pittsburgh Lifeforms sequencer.

The Urano takes this self-patched madness and adds analog clock (through the Missed Ops), granular effects, two plingy synth voices, a synth drone, a slower synth voice and reverb - all sequenced with variable length sequencers, random generators, LFOs, etc. There's even master clock morphing going on.

No samples, just internal Urano synth engine sounds and Eurorack bleeps.
Phew ... well ... it's so good to get back into the synth wardrobe!"
