Furmitt the Krog - Mister Right

YouTube via ionraygun

"Furmitt the Krog, a lovable green puppet made out of foam rubber and felt sings a song about all of the good girls and what they appear to be looking for in mister right... apparently it is not him.

Nice guys finish last.. but do Krogs even finish at all?

Shot on a Nikon D90 in my home studio with a backdrop of modular synthesizers and various toy keyboards and drum machines."

KORG DVP-1

"This early-80's vocoder/harmonizer has a unique set of sounds and features. Most vocoders do only one thing, but the DVP works as a harmonizer, a pitch shifter, or a MIDI synth. The pitch shifter has a huge range and can be controlled by MIDI, so it works like an early pitch correcter. You can sequence the melody of your vocal tracks! The built-in programmable synth has a whole set of vocal and choral sounds that are useful for pads, leads, or weird bass lines with vocal qualities. The vocoder itself is unique because it is permanently chained to the internal synth, unlike other vocoders that allow a separate carrier input. This vocoder requires a MIDI signal to work. I used a keyboard MIDI controller, but the potential for controlling the vocoded signal with other MIDI devices is vast."

Korg M1

"Apparently, the most popular synth ever (in terms of sales). Has been used on countless recordings, by basically anyone who played keyboards in the late 80's and early 90's. Essential in tejano, latin, and early house and techno music."

Anyone know if it was the most popular in terms or sales, or was it the Yamaha DX7, or other?

KORG VCF FK-1

"Rare Filter from the 70's, Used in the MaxiKorg, MiniMorg 770 and the early MS Serie's. It has lowpass and highpass filtering and a footnctroller which works on some older Korg synthesizers to (PEDAL NOT INCLUDED)."

Casio CZ-101

"They also had interchangeable cartridges which stored a variety of sounds, each of which could then be further modified and tweaked the the users liking. This auction includes one such cartridge. It is the "Mean Machine 2" cart and it has some pretty wicked sounds on it."

Note the connections are on the right side of the synth.
