"Classic FM Synthesizer with added Phazer, LFO, Pitch Modulation, Weird Oscillation and Loads of strange FM Glitch & New sounds.

Hacked Chorus reveals a nice clean LFO which can be used to drive the Pitch, and an oscillating PHAZER....

Preset CHORD / BASS sound can be totally transformed with the aid of Glitch Buttons on the right panel. Switches scramble the FM circuits and allow new sounds and instrument patches to be generated.

The PSS-460 (PSS-470) is the best of all the yamaha FM Keyboards, with Pure FM Drums, Digital Synthesizer, Chord/Bass and fake Stereo Effect accomplished with internal analog chorus circuits...."

Left Panel Mods:
"Ultra-Stable Pitch Modulation over a large range. Small Knob for Fine tune and Large Knob for Ultra-Bass and stretched pulses.......

Clean LFO modulator - Hardware Hacking around the Analog Chorus reveals a clean LFO which can be used to modulate the Pitch of the machine. Small Knob is for LFO Depth, Large Silver Knob controls LFO / Chorus / Phazer Rate. A Green Flashing LED light Indicates LFO rate.

Rich Analog Phazer with Self Oscillation. Use the LFO rate Knob to alter the Phazer Rate. Use the Volume Slider to acheive extra Screech and oscillation if required.

Distortion Switch & Oscillation Switch."

Right Panel Mods:
" 5 x Black & Green Glitch Buttons allow the Preset Chord / Bass to altered and new Chord / Bass Instruments to be created.

4 x Data-Line Switches interupt the Data Flow between the FM chip, and allow new Sounds & Patches to be created from corrupted versions of the original presets.

Red Button 'Crashes' the FM Drums and creates interesting Rhythmic textures and abstract noise forms.

Stable Toggle Switches which can be used in accompanyment mode to alter the Chord/Bass/Drums.
