Buchla 144 Square Wave Oscillator (CBS) for Auction

via this auction

"This auction is for one Buchla model 144 Square wave Oscillator. Please note of the two independent oscillators in this modules, the left one is working perfectly, while the right one currently doesn't have any output. This should be readily repaired by one of the Buchla experts. I've included a photo showing the output of the left oscillator on the oscilloscope.

This module is from the CBS era, requires +15V only, and like other 100 series modules, is terminated in terminal strip eyelets for power. The module is in physically very good condition, and will be carefully packed."

"This is a great opportunity to get hold of a unique, rare and classic British Synth.
Cosmetically very clean, this superb synth is Version M2 (MIDI) with sounds that will inspire musicians, synth freaks and sound designers alike!
The synth has recently been beautifully overhauled by James Walker at Synth Repair Services with the replacement of various components including:

1 New OSCar Midi OS EPROM Ver OM2a
1 New Back up Battery
1 New Mains Plug
28 New Pots
1 New Power Supply Parts( regulators and Capacitors)
1 New 40 Way DIL Socket
1 New 40 Way Component Header
1 New 24 Way Component Header
1 New 24 Way DIL Socket
2 New Knob Caps

A fairly comprehensive overhaul I'm sure you'll agree, giving the synth as pretty 'clean a bill of health' as is possible, (receipt available on request). All it needs now is a good home!"

Pittsburg Modular Synthesizer Analog Delay (BBD)

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated. via this auction

"Analog bucket brigade delay (BBD) from Pittsburg - other than rack rash at mount points this module is in MINT condition! Super versatile with CV control for all parameters including feedback, rate (time/delay) and mix. Additionally, module has a separate feedback out line for routing pure feedback signal to other devices. Module has BUS adjustable trim pots for delay lengths, audio quality, etc. Module will ship with factory defaults. Auction includes original box, power cable and mounting screws. I am pairing down my system and use an outboard MF104-Z making this redundant for me.

Manufacturers description:

(8192 Stage Bucket Brigade Delay Line)

A brand new analog delay module designed around a pair of 4096 Bucket Brigade Delay Line (BBD) ICs to produce a distinct analog delay effect. The maximum delay time when shipped is set at 9/10ths of a second but this can be adjusted up to 2 seconds. The Analog Delay offers voltage control of the delay time, feedback, and wet signal. A true bypass switch allows the delay to be enabled and disabled quickly.

Size: 16hp
Depth: 35mm
Power Usage: 35mA"

Echophon strings

Echophon strings from Pete Shambler on Vimeo.

Using the Echophon's two feedback loops for solo and ensemble string sounds. A small bit of reverb was added after the fact.

Signal path: Cyclebox (vocal formant bank) --> Dr. Octature 12dB LPF--> QMMG (LPG) --> Echophon (50/50 wet/dry mix)

The LPG is being opened by a Maths envelope (ch.4). The same envelope is controlling the Echophon's feedback amount. Throughout the patch, I am adjusting amount and polarity of the feedback CV.

The Echophon's pitch shifter is being controlled through Row 2 of a Pressure Points/Brains combo (clocked by Math's EOC output). The Echophon is set to shift at 1v/oct. The Cyclebox's pitch is not changing.

2 Moogs (Voyager XL & Slim Phatty) & 5 x Osc - By Andy Barrow

YouTube Published on Jul 4, 2012 by MrRidgebackman

"Hi Everyone,

As promised, a short video showing the powerful sound of 5 analog oscillators and actually being able to play more than one note. Simply adding another Moog via a MIDI cable, using last note priority on the Moog SP, you get to play 2 notes without having to go into the menu and setup a chain (both Moogs have this ability in the menu - Voyager 1, Voyager2 etc and the same deal with the SP).

A rather quick and dirty video - but you get the benefit of having your ear drums pummeled by the 5 osc's

Best with Headphones

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks - Andy

"This is the 1st module for my 11th noise machine that I've started building. a simple introduction, but it'll help give you a bit of an idea as to it's functionality."
