"I’m still testing the Fenix 2d, this time focusing on longer delays, The delay of Fenix 2 is also involved in this patch.
Injecting some minimal negative voltage to the delay time CV input to get longer delays. Then sending the delay into a filter to remove the way too high high-pitched noise present in the slow delay signal.
I use the Wave Multiplier as a clock divider to variate the rhythm.
The Triangle output on VCO2 is actually a sinewave, not a triangle. I use it here for the Bass Drum sound.
No external effects used.

I’m recording each session with the Fenix, that’s why I’m sharing here, for everyone interested in hearing the sound of this synth. So it's not a composition or something elaborated. I’m also recording for the first time via a new audio interface so it's a good occasion for me to see how it translates once on youtube.
I will anyway make more videos showing more precisely how the delay sounds. As well as some tricks with a few functions on the modular."

It's actually the same patch, but the sequencer clock is slower. As usual it's recorded directly in one take to a stereo track.

The beat comes from a Vermona DRM1, triggered by the Fenix III.
At 8:04 I'm fading in again the original sample, not knowing here it's gonna start. I actually also don't know where it's gonna stop cause I never listened to all of it until today! I stop it at 10:21 quite abruptly because I have no idea how long the samples go."

"The track is based on Synton Fenix II & III, plus modded Vermona ER-9, recorded to a stereo track in one take.
I'm also using my Buchla system to assist the Synton Fenix II & III patch for the digital delay coming from my Scrotum Lab 'Espace Temps', the sample played by my Kesako 'Player & Reverb' module and the noise from 266e 5sent to Fenix phaser with a lot of feedback)."

"I like the sound on the phaser on the Fenix II. On the monitors it did sound bombastic, really impressive with some feedback.
New ideas came to mind related to this patch while watching the result on this video, so I'll see once in the studio if I decide to go further with it or not. It will also depend if the Fenix is still in tune. I spent one hour only with tuning and (re)calibration of the quantizers."
