Shine on you crazy diamond on iPad with iSEM and Garageband

Published on Nov 6, 2013 Sergio Paganini·4 videos

iTunes: Arturia iSEM - Arturia | Sunrizer synth - BeepStreet | Animoog - Moog Music Inc.

"Oops ! I did it again......i was trying some sounds with the new iSEM by Arturia ,and i've modified a strings preset to fit the Shine on you crazy diamond initial pad. The iSEM does a good organic sound stacking octaves of the Gm chord ,so I've added a brass sound for the solo modifying the Oxygen preset .  For the recording I've used the new GarageBand app and the brand new Inter-app sound feature . As in the previous version the execution is very bad (I'm not a keyboardist) and so i had to edit the video to fit the sound, I apologize for this. The video is only to show the ability of the iPad to make interesting sounds. Feel free to ask me the iSEM patches using the serpa59@gmail.com email. Thanks for watching . This music belongs to Pink Floyd . My best gratitude to Rick Wright for his soulful play with Pink Floyd."

Shine on you crazy diamond intro with ipad

"Intro from Shine on you crazy diamond with the pad , Sunrizer for the pad sound and Animoog for the lead sound. Execution is bad , it's only for hearing the sounds of the software synths . L'esecuzione è molto scarsa, ma è solo per far sentire i suoni ottenibili da questi 2 synth ."

Shine on you crazy diamond (Pink Floyd) final solo cover on iPad

Uploaded on Jan 9, 2012 Sergio Paganini·4 videos

"This is a video of me playing the final solo from Shine on you Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd from the album Wish You Were Here . I've used Sunrizer and Animoog on my iPad , both the patches are programmed by me (the solo patch too is new) . I've used my Novation Xio 25 for keyboard controller , using Network MIDI via my iMac to control both Animoog and Sunrizer . This works fine with no latency at all . I've used my little JVC Picsio video recorder to take the video in artificial light, so the images is'nt that good. The sound was recorded in GarageBand , and i've added a drum part ,partly using a loop and filling in some MIDI drums . As i am not a piano player , the execution is bad , not at the level of Rick Wright who wrote this amazing sad tune . Pink Floyd (before The Wall) was one of best group in the rock scene , and one of my favoured . If someone is interested having the 2 patches for Animoog and Sunrizer , please email me at serpa59@gmail.com . Thanks to everybody will view this video ."
