Sherman Filterbank 2 Compact as part of a synth voice and as a drum machine destruction device

"This video shows the Sherman Filterbank 2 Compact being used as part of a synthesizer voice and filtering and distorting a drum machine. The synth voice is made with a Vermona Mono Lancet with the VCA and VCF all the way open, so the droning saw wave oscillators go into the Filterbank which filters and then controls the amplitude of them. Then an Elektron Machinedrum is run into the Filterbank for the classic screaming and distorted drum machine into filterbank sound.

The Sherman Filterbank 2 Compact is a powerful analog filtering/distortion unit that features all the components that made its predecessor a classic, albeit in a more compact design. Like its predecessor, the Compact FB 2 features independent low-pass, high-pass, and bandpass filters with dedicated ADSR and frequency controls, resonance, FM, and even a ring modulator input!
