Cool to see a Roland Jupiter-6 in this one. You should recognize the name synthartist69 from previous posts here on MATRIXSYNTH.

"Here is a video of some friends and I recording our version of 'Just like Heaven' by The Cure. We all three used to play together in high school and decided to reunite a couple of months ago to do an 80's reunion. It's such a great pleasure to play with these guys after 27 years. Being in a band with great friends, rather than just other musicians, means everything to me! I played drums and obviously keyboards on this recording, and covered all backing vocals. Drums used were a Roland TD20SX set. Recorded using a Yamaha AW4416 Digital Recorder. We are 'A Buck Twenty-Five'.

"In this video I am comparing two string patches from the Jupiter 8 and the Jupiter 6. I created both patches from scratch and tried to get these as close to one another as I could. The one issue I had during this process was that by cutting off the brightness of the JP6 strings in the upper octaves seemed to have a more profound effect on the lower octaves. The Jupiter 8 strings seemed to be more balanced in warmth and brightness from one end of the keyboard to the other. The JP6 was not as balanced. No external effects were used. I apologize for the noise in the video, some of it is on my end, but some of it is also on Youtube's end which I have not found a resolution for as of yet."
