"Before you read the App Store description, I would like to say 1 or 2 things... (Perhaps 3... or 4...!) First, a big thanks to the developer for creating uPhase+. Secondly uPhase is really unique on the App Store! (I think that Musicians who don't use an iDevice miss out big time... there are so many foolish developers in this world who create so many foolish Apps... and for a such a small price...!). Thirdly: to use uPhase+ for the first time, you have to learn the basics of how it works. So take get a glass of milk a chocolate cigarette and sit down and read this post (or go straight to the of developer's website)... Please make this small effort because this will enable you to enjoy uPhase+ fast... Fourthly, uPhase works really well, I had the honour to work on it for a whole week and didn't find any bugs. The App is really steady, so "bravo" again to the developer. Fifthly, Recording and AudioCopy are already in the works and will come in a future update. In conclusion, uPhase+ is a Killer App and is the kind of App which shows how important it is for a musician to own an iDevice in this day and age!

A "Solo Mode" acts as the app's lab, allowing the player to refine and save patterns before setting up a networked session.

If you have downloaded uPhase Client without reading the app’s description, sorry , uPhase Client does nothing on it’s own. It’s only function is to connect via local wifi to an iPad running uPhase+."

There's no mention of MIDI support unfortunately.

Demo of an interactive version of Steve Reich's "Piano Phase" using uPhase+ and uPhase Client on 4 iPads.
The phase is quicker than in the original.
Proof of concept : this is an undocumented feature of uPhase+. Will expand if there is demand...
