"uPhase+ is an instrument geared towards live play. It has many features and shortcuts to enable complex improvisation with spatialized patterns.

uPhase+ will be released in the app store worldwide on November 27th, 2012. Until then, it will only be in the swiss app store.
If you have downloaded uPhase Client without reading the app’s description, sorry , uPhase Client does nothing on it’s own. It’s only function is to connect via local wifi to an iPad running uPhase+."
There's no mention of MIDI support unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the interest in uPhase.
uPhase+ is very much a "passion project" : I first deved it for my own use, and polished to release when I saw friends starting to do unexpected music with it.
At the moment, it is a standalone instrument and features alas no midi support. I'm very curious to find out if it will be of use to musicians out there. If there is demand, be sure I'll do my best to satisfy requests!

Hi Greg, It would pretty incredible if you could set a MIDI Channel and MIDI CC for each sequence. You could then control external synths and their individual parameters. If you'd like to discuss further, shoot me an email at matrixsynth at gmail.com.
