Circuit Benders
Great circuit bending site with pictures and samples. Via GetLoFi. Please don't let this be a circuit bent Roland SH101. The caption on Circuit Benders says it's modified. Let's hope that means modified and not circuit bent. Cheap home keyboards, bend away, but actual synthesizers with only a limitted number out there... Please... Protect and serve.

hey ortho - you can run an SH101 on batterys,
ReplyDeletewell mine does anyway.... but i still wouldnt bend it
i have a Juno106 that bends itself - time has made it unstable & it comes up with the wickedest sounds,
all on its own ;)
I'm not a bending expert, but I heard that with true circuit bending you just cross connections. There isn't supposed to be an end goal other than seeing what comes out when you "bend" things around. Scares me to think someone might do that to an SH101.
ReplyDeleteits alright, it is actually heavily modified and not bent. Theres a link to the circuitbenders SH101 modification guide on their forum if anyones interested http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5.0
