New Prophet 5 Shots

Update: Make sure to check out the comments link below for some notes from Marsupilami. Amazing catch indeed. The shine on the knobs in some of those close-ups is what gets me. Absolutely beautiful. : )

Some amazing SCI Prophet 5 shots sent to me by Marsupilami Fantasio. This is probably the cleanest Prophet 5 I have seen so far. Amazing shots! Title link takes you there. Thanks Marsupilami!

  3. Hi guys,

this is Marsupilami from France, the owner of this stunning Prophet 5. Here are a few comments about this beast :

This is a 1982 REV3.2 P5 converted into REV3.3 at Sequential Circuits factory (no midi). I've recently bought this unit through ebay and the shots have been taken "out of the box" - means no cleaning or restoration work ! The original manual and sustain pedal were also included. The unit is 150% functionnal and I was told by the original owner that this P5 was played only 100 hours. When I took the P5 out of the cardbox I was really astonished !!!

I have recently changed the bushings and inspected the inside electronics. Some more shots will be published in a couple of days which show the guts...

The most incredible is that I paid this Prophet 5 1475 euros all shipping/taxes included.

    INCREDIBLE... A bargain :)

Thank you for your attention and some more shots will follow.

    Cheers !!!
