it better be something original. all this hype for just a scaled down version of the voyager would be major BS and seriously, I'd never by from them again. That's just bad business, although it's funny wathcing them lead everyone along it's bullshit. I really don't care ore expect much, but c'mon don't use youre supporters like that. ? Of course, maybe it is something orginal and all new.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't see spending $3000 plus on another synth...but if its around half that or less, It will be a perfect fit for me! Plus, the Voyager has more "bells and whistles" than I really need.
I started off my "synthaholism" in 1983 with a Moog Rogue that was sadly sold off about a decade ago. I had a nice Prodigy a few months back but its mod routings were a little lackluster plus its guts were 30 years old with all that implies. Even had a passing flirtation with a Minimax ASB - sounded *great* but kind of buggy!
I've really been looking to get a nice reliable monosynth back in my setup for quite a while now. The last thing I want to do is have to maintain a 30 year old "vintage" synth...
Man, some of these anonymous posts are annoying. You dont want a moog synth? Don't buy one. What would you prefer? Another Triton?

ReplyDeleteI hope it's a cut down voyager. with no fancy stuff, just a really stright foward analogue synth in a nice box with wooden bits and a moog badge that costs less than £500. That's all it needs to be, something to satisfy people's urge to own a moog.
ReplyDeleteFrom those specs, looks to be very much a modern Moog Prodigy with some expanded mod routings, and all the sockets, including audio in to the filter.
