Also check out this new shot on the Moog website. Looks like wood end cheeks to me. I ran into this on Music Thing catching up this morning.

Update: Grabbing the text from Moog for the clue #2 shot above before it is gone.

"Could it be Wood? It must be a Boomerang...

  1. Weird..so is the front panel going to be in a static 45 degree angle?

With all the of hype around this thing, I'll allmost be dissapointed if this ends up being "just" another mono-synth.

I think it would be cool if they combined digital oscillators with analog filters and amplifiers (with a pre-filter amp). That would be something close to what Moog showed off at their last NAMM in the 80's before folding. Anyone remember the name of that synth by the way? It looked dead sexy.

  2. It will be a very un-portable polyphonic.

You heard it here first. Or more likely, for the 53rd time.

  3. hmmm - a digi-analog hybrid could be quite cool, if they do it right

im still talking about new features and new functionality, ala Evolver (currently the ultimate hardware synth IMO)
