I remember when the Jump video played on MTV every hour or so, they dubbed in an extra "OWW-OHH!!" right after the keyboard solo, and I could never figure out why. But in this video it has been (badly) edited out. Interesting. OK, maybe it isn't that interesting.
What's more interesting is that Diamond Dave acts like your friend's too-promiscuous drunk Mom throughout the entire video.
Richard Barbieri is perhaps the most underestimated synthesist of the 80s. Japan's "Ghosts" is a work of true genius. It's amazing to think a song this bizarre and introspective made it on the pop charts.

Too funny. I miss Diamond Dave in Van Halen. It was like turning that knob to 11. I'll never forget that MTV reuninting flop.
