  2. I think the synth sounds fine tho. Alesis can redeem themselves by continually updating the platform.

  3. was that a joke? that sounds horrid. It actually sounds worse than it looks? I thought that'd be impossible.

  4. LOL!

    Some real cerebral critiques, guys.

I demoed the Fusion 6HD in my studio for a month before ordering the 8HD...I needed a new controller and it was a tossup between the Fusion and the Kurzweil PC2.

The sampler is accurate and noise-free. Much better than my Akai who's sample library this now hosts.

The FM and VA engines are excellent sounding as well. They are easy to program despite the depth of parameters - something like the Andromeda in terms of detail.

I'm surprised as anyone that this is _not_ a craptastic board.

    My reasons are here:

  5. Yes, some deep, well informed & intelligent statements there. I'm surprised the posters could figure out the verification process :S

Still, those who have actually used a Fusion will know it's depth and power and we shall revell in it ;)

  6. Reminds me of how the A6 was received as well. Funny how Alesis synths have that effect on people. The ION did as well, but to a much lesser extent.
