These are then permanently accessible via the blog posts. I asked him how difficult it would be to set up a synth version. As expected it would not be difficult at all - he just finished a prototype. What do you think? Personally I think it's a great idea for a number of reasons. One it saves the most interesting bits for posterity, two it's kind of cool having a repository for everything synth on Ebay, and three it brings the items to you, making it easier to track what's coming up. On the bad side? Well, for those rare occasions where you might be lucky enough to be the only person to catch a good deal... Well those days would probably be over. The tool would post any item with the word "synth" on Ebay. Please feel free to post your comments. Great idea, sucks, or who cares... Sorry Doktor Future. : )

Brilliant idea... would be cool if the final bid price is also recorded
ReplyDeleteI think it's a bad idea. Ebay's done enough to destroy the day of the good deal, why help it? Not only that, but there's a lot of shill bidding, auction tampering of other kinds and non-paying bids that contribute to inflatation even though they shouldn't. I think it's better to leave this one alone.
