  1. See the comments of this post.

The reason I put this up is... When I first started the blog Flickr was just getting buzz. There weren't many synth shots coming up on Flickr. When the few did come up I started posting them. Why? Because I thought it was interesting that people were putting their synth shots up and tagging them as such. The images and synths themselves are just half of what is interesting about these posts. The other half are the people. When you click on a title link you will go to the set the shot belongs to. A good amount of the time you will find other synth shots and other times you will find things completely unrelated to synths... but the person that put up the synth shot also put up these other shots. You can see some of what these people are into aside from the synths. That's fascinating.

So, like the comments in the post I linked to above state, no discrimination. Some people simply see things others do not. A lot of the time I actually almost didn't put something up because I thought, "what's the big deal?" only to find that people got a kick out of it based on the comments, so it was a big deal to them. People are different.

Do you know what's really interesting about this particular shot and post? I let iLEZ know I put it up as I do with every Flickr shot. You know what I got back? A thanks and a reply with the monome set I put up here: http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2006/04/making-monome-new-flickr-set.html. That wouldn't have happened if I didn't put this post up and let him know.

    Pretty cool, huh?
