I got to play with a bunch of AS modules at Big City Music. Thought they sounded great. The "french connection" controller was a dream to use.
ReplyDeleteWas the guy who runs AS involved with EMS at some point?
ReplyDeleteAS licensed the Sythni Trapezoid Generator and Low Pass Filter from EMS. They now put Synthi like multiturn dials on the oscillators as the previous ones had no fine tune knob which was a nightmare. I know as I still have one. I sold the EMS licensed stuff as well since it takes much more to make a Synthi.
