This added board has an opamp on it and no Minimoog or Moog modular used an opamp in their VCAs.
Fwiw, those solder points are not the result of the designer's foresight. They're feedthrus connecting the top and bottom traces.

ReplyDeleteHi! I'm no electronics expert and Kevin may be right for all I know - he IS the expert here - but it is a modification - an addition to the circuit - I think.. I recon Tim Caswell of SE can answer this better than me.. if I got the St.Regis brothers correct he constructed the modification. I like the sound of that particular modification anyway. Cheers!
