"This comparison is low pass only. It would take far too long to compare (in what I view as a useful way) every output and mode, so this is it for now.

In theory they're all based on the SEM circuitry, but some do have alterations.
I'm less concerned with "purity" or adherence to the "original" sound as I am with how good they sound period.

Source VCO is an Acid Rain chainsaw. Envelope is Zadar. Sequencer is Pittsburgh Modular microSequence.

"Quick demo of the SE Roland filters in an Omega 8 Synthesizer. In order it goes:

1 - Oberheim
2 - Moog
3 - Roland 24db
4 - Roland 6db (unsure if it's actually 6db but will use that here for now)
5 - Roland 24db & 6db - messing with the rather subtle non-resonant highpass filter"

This comprehensive synthesizer is a true analog synthesizer at a very affordable price which looks tiny, but has a big fat sound and offering far more than meets the eye!

All sounds are recorded dry, towards the end of each demo you'll notice the addition of some applied effects. What you're hearing is the raw output from this SE-02; no EQ or dynamic tools have been applied. Drums are also from the SE02!

Effects applied are:
‪@bitwig‬ Delay+, Flanger+, Phaser+ - amazing effects with loads of options.
‪@talsoftware‬ Chorus LX - another classic!
‪@RelabDevelopment‬ Sonsig Rev-A - true gem!
