I rather liked the sound of this keyboard. Will certainly pick one up one day. I laugh cuz so many hate it.
ReplyDeleteBut look at this guy's shots: he hasn't even dusted the thing properly. Some of the shots show a lot of caked on dust. So clearly it didn't get much play.
Worried about the flickering LCD backlight. That sounds like it's going.
Yeah, I never understood why people don't dust their synths especially when they put them up for sale. Music shops are almost the worst. If they just dusted their used gear people might me more inclined to buy it. Note the little bit of chipped paint above the ribbon controller and what looks like rust.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the dusting, but have to say the OB-12 is one lousy synth. Spend some time with one if you can before deciding to buy. It might change your mind about it. I used 1 for a while and it did nothing for me, I think that money's better spent on many other synths.
