Title link takes you to the post on Orac. He's looking for Rev B schematics so if you have or know where to get them, post a comment.
"The color-coded Molex connectors which route signals to and from the SEM have wonderful, gemlike hues. In the second shot the new electrolytic cap is evident (the big blue can)."
And they break off easily as they age,and if you try to buy new connectors you'll be shocked at the price.Connectors(especially specific ones like these 3 pin molex)are just a license to print money. Of what is a excellent piece of mechanical design,up there with the quality of the Buchla modules, these are the weakest part.
I sell these connectors and in any color one wants. The connectors aren't that expensive. It's the pins that add up.
Regardless, most of the schemos released *are* the B versions. The A version schemo is much harder to find. The big differences are better env generators on the later ones, with a few other minor changes made to the filter, etc. Early ones may also not have all the osc sync circuitry installed, but the locations are still there. They also often have 2 screws holding the boards down instead of 3, like the later ones. If you have 10 transistors (vs 8) in each env gen, you have a later model.
