Ionic Performer - New Shots

Remember the Ionic Performer Synthi AKS clone? Click here for some shots posted by Paul Sop. BTW, he is looking for someone to repair it. If you know of anyone that can tackle something like this feel free to comment.

Also, turns out Paul Sop is none other than Doktor Future! : )

"Hi Matrix. Ionic Performer is Mine. (Doktorfuture = Paul Sop). BTW. Title takes you somewhere else. Pictures are: here

It is a really great synth. Just like an EMS. I'm gonna mod it up to the hilt with lots of madness. Probably change its effect section to be a few pedals.

Check the Ionic Performer page by: Dennis Bathory-Kitsz. It has MP3's.

My last tech ***SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED ME*** with his **ABSOLUTE UNPROFESSIONALISM**. I shall say no more until I get my synth **OUT OF HIS GREASY HANDS***. heh

My *NEW TECH* is right next door, in Toronto. The amazing "Dean Batute".

  3. Sorry about that doktor future. Post is update. Looks like I'm on another typo roll which means I need to tighten up. I also updated the post with your comments. Funny, I didn't realize you were Paul Sop. : )

  4. awakened_yeti, yeah, I thought the same when I saw it. They both have that thin flat design. And then there's "ion" in the name of both of them...

  5. I'm not so sure one would call that a "clone". It seems pretty obvious that it's Iconic's attempt to repackage/retrofit the guts of actual EMS synths to hopefully re-sell it to musicians who either didn't know or for whatever reason weren't considering an EMS.

  6. - whoops, not sure if that reads right - I meant Ionic repackaged and slightly modified an EMS synth.

As for repair, someone who could repair a VCS-3 with confidence (and not have any ill-will toward Ionic) whould be a good choice.
