ReplyDeleteburp. haha!
yeuch pet dander! If a cat went on one of my synths it'd pretty soon be an ex-cat, especially such an ugly bugger as that one.
ReplyDeleteHah! Good one Yeti.
ReplyDeleteThis photo shows what Kevin Lightner, aka Synthfool can do to your ARP Odyssey for an additional $2000. Meow! ;)
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy a cat being permanently affixed (like with super glue) and slowly starved. Put that cat+glue+synth in a box, all quantum Schrödinger's Cat style, record the whole thing until the cat expires, and remix to cut out the dead air.
ReplyDeleteNow who will be so kind as to call the RSPCA on my ass?
No need for the RSPCA, remember we are all cat lovers. You'd be banned from synthdom for life for that one. Might have to make a bagpipe out of you.
ReplyDeleteBah! no one understands my art :)
ReplyDeletequantum cat torture would be so now. it'll be the 'new blue'. john cage for the year 3000.
/me dejected
But really though, Synthfool puts up all these pictures of cats perched on customer's priceless synths. Do they come back smelling like cat ass or covered with cat hair? Cause when I pay someone a mint to have my treasured synths serviced I don't expect animals to have crawled all over them. Someone please tell me Synthfool's stopped letting the cats near his customer's gear.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Synthfool is sensible enough to not let the cats on his customers freshly repaired gear.
ReplyDeleteYep, he's pretty hard core about doing things right. I wouldn't worry about it.
ReplyDelete"I'm pretty sure Synthfool is sensible enough to not let the cats on his customers freshly repaired gear. "
ReplyDeleteI hope so, cause not only can cat hairs get into faders, but some people are extremely allergic to cats and this can cause them serious problems.
