To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

no doubt capable, but it sure ain't pretty
ReplyDeleteI think it perty. Little grids of sonic power. There's this power grid in Seattle by the Seattle Center. It's like a whole block filled with huge tesla coils. Every time I go by it, I think this would make for a great place to play synths for the day. These racks would be at home in that setting.
ReplyDeleteI guess it is pretty if you find members of the cold war era steroid pumped East German womens swim team attractive!!!
ReplyDeleteRegarding the "tesla coils" - there may be some big ass coils, transformers, capacitors, switches, etc, but there are no tesla coils in a power substation. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_Coil
Didn't you have a link to some guy who had hooked up a tesla coil to his synth?
