Left to the Doepfer is a Formant system, this was published in the German magazine ELEKTOR around 1979/1980. Below could be Formant as well, but not using the original front panels...

ReplyDeleteYeah that is the system of my buddy Jeroen.
ReplyDeleteI think he sold some of his formants and got some other nice modular stuff now.
I'll let him post some comments and maybe he'll post a new pic of his modular setup.
Jip, that was my stuff. Now it's located near a big digisound modular.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow formant was really great. It was built like a tank. Very good sound, extra tuning pots and all VCO outputs could be mixed so the sound was really fat.
The black one has some CEM modules in it and some ARP circuits, which were made by saintEric, a long time ago.
The formant with the black panels once belonged to me. I had it for about 15 years.
ReplyDeleteAs I can remember, I made the lfo's voltage controlled, I built some arp ar and lfo modules. I also built some korg modulation vca's.
SaintEric has nothing to do with this synth.
There is a connection although, we were both part of Par Example and both had our own pile of synth's.:)
