  1. 90° cables pretty much suck for modulars.

  3. The keyboard is pretty close to the patch panel on the MS20 and having those little 90° plugs means you can persuade the cables to point up, right or left rather than drooping off the end of a straight jack onto the keys.
    Sure, it's not aesthetically pleasing and it obscures the legend but that's not really a big deal if you know your holes.
