To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

wow. condition doesn't get any better than that.
ReplyDeleteUmm, one can get better than that, it can't have been stored in perfect conditions if the outside hardware got rusty.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth a friend of mine got a never used orange and white in the box back in the late 90s
Upgrade was one best solution for that.
ReplyDeleteI've played that particuar ARP, it is the cleanest 2600 I've seen... the best revision as well with the 4012 filter, unepoxiated modules with the panel mounted switchcraft jacks. its too bad about the rust but thats one of the things you get used to living by the sea... the parts could be replated or replaced.
ReplyDeleteit had no broken sliders nor was it missing any knobs.. thats very rare.
Does anyone have 4 grand I can borrow?
ReplyDeletei believe this to be the 2600 that was sold @ NJAMS here in Van. just recently???
ReplyDeletei think it sold for $1500-1800??
the hardware on the inside was rusty & the unit was pretty dirty all over.
nice that a clean-up & new hardware suddenly results in $3500-4000 US!!
where's the Odyssey & Sequencer?
