WOW! It's so beautiful I wanted to knob my computer screen when I saw it! Thanks Matrix for the link... made my day!
ReplyDeleteOB 4 voice always look so classy - like the Rolls Royce of synth world
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of 4 voices, oh man. Have I got a story that will make you grit your teeth.
ReplyDeleteI buddy of mine found an Oberheim 4 voice sitting inconspicuously in the corner of a Goodwill. How much did he buy it for you say? $75. Thats right, $75.
Granted it didn't work, but he sure turned it into a pretty penny.
Phloem knows what I'm talking about. Didn't you want to just punch him whem you heard that?
Yeah, I remember. It was pretty much the most amazing deal in synthesizer history. I wish he got it working before selling it.
ReplyDelete$75 ?!?! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBest I've done in a Goodwill is an MG-1 for $30. It did work and still does.
I love SEM-based Oberheims. They look great and sound amazing. :-) Too bad this one doesn't have a sequencer--those are FUN to play around with!
ReplyDeleteI found an mg-1 for $15 at goodwill. works pretty much perfect.
