ReplyDeletewill it work after I spill Hoegarten all over it?

No aftertouch? Meh.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if it still works or not afterwards, so long as you buy Ken another Hoegarten.

I'll have to sneak a keg in for him this year.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is as Ken says, very old school.
ReplyDeleteI hope it has a warmer sound than the M5, which I always thought was brassy.
It's odd how 'sparse' the circuits are on his synths (well, I don't know if he has extra boards inside -- I'm just going off of pics on his site). They seem to be 'thrifty' on parts.
Anyone have a pic of an M5's insides? OR is it really all on the board(s) that the pots are connected to?
I've already invested in my weird synth of the year (S-1000)... maybe this time next year when it's time to drop another few grand on an oddity the Matrixsynth Voyager will come out...
ReplyDelete"No aftertouch? Meh." - No? It's like a cool factor to own Macbeth's keyboard analogue synth? I duno... $3k... I can get a minimoog...
ReplyDelete"...when it's time to drop another few grand on an oddity the Matrixsynth Voyager will come out..."
YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!
Sweet!
ReplyDeleteIf my Moog LP falls apart by the time this is out, I'll consider it O_o
Funny Carbon111, you read my mind. I wonder how it will compare. Now the Matrixsynth Voyager... One day....
ReplyDeleteWhere are the specs/price coming from? I didn't see anything over on the Macbeth site????

ReplyDeleteYeah, but how does sound compared to the SMS 2000? It's a nice render, but the SMS 2000 had that too.
