SynthMaker

"SynthMaker is an audio programming tool that allows anyone to create their own sounds, virtual instruments and effects without having to write any code. These instruments and effects can then be used for playing live via MIDI or as VST plugins for use in making music using any of the popular recording software."

  1. Can someone tell me if this works now? I tried it 3 times during development, and it crashed each time I attempted the most elementary things (like drag an object from the palette, or connect an oscillator to the output).

    At least synthedit works :)

  2. Sure, it works. The modular synthesis forum on kvr is the place for SM info. Don't bother with the DSP forum, they'll just bite your head off in there.

  3. I checked it out last night. It's come a long way. I love the graphics. The guy is a great coder. I expect great things from this system.
