ReplyDeleteThe Buchla 200e is an impressive looking synth as well as it's modulation routing potential. However the most important feature of any synth is it's sound. This is where the way overpriced 200e falls way short. It's sound is VERY THIN. A good Serge Modular system will blow it off the table for much less cost. The CMS is much more powerful sounding as well. But I am sure that the 200e would capture the experimental musical mind for days, weeks and months on end.
