This is a little FM preset synth (Not unlike a Yamaha PSS). It has a cassette for backing up the sequences you can create (albeit rather clunkily). The sounds are from "absolutely terrible" to "nothing special". It's more of a toy than anything professional.
There is also a grey version, this is most likely more common than the black version.
i got one of these and can safely say its something to avoid . unless you like plastic sitting about your house unused . not everything rare is a classic . and if your looking for an individual or classic sound loke no-one else . you will find it here . for a reason . all the sounds are terrible . and the interface is one thousand minus fun points . . .sorry, negative post . but when you could probably get a DX7 for the same price these days, its a laughable piece of kit .
I believe the Beatles used one on their "Please Please Me" and "Sgt. Pepper" albums.
