Read the first one, it's pretty good, even has little schematics for general components and such.
ReplyDeleteI have the synth tech book along with another one thats pretty much the same but has nick rhodes playing a fairlight.... i found these outside a computer store that went out of business, they had piles of c64s that went to the ceiling.. but I was only like 13 and didn't know any better. -Sabastian Boaz
ReplyDeleteI've also read the first. It's very thorough and provides details on tape manipulation methods i.e. analogue phasing, flanging, tape loops, echoes etc, mixing techniques, waveform types and loads of other stuff. Wicked. Definitely worth it, and all the details are still relevant today.
