  1. Woah... that's steep for a poly six... but hey, novelty? I'll just grab the pictures... looks neat though.

It has a white juno-6, now that's cool!

  3. Thanks Sonicbrat, I've posted on the site before, but I missed it in the auction.

  4. The white Juno-6 is both fantastic and strangely unsettling - probably 'cause of the completely different "ROLAND" font on the front.

Still, I'd definitely let these guys convert my beloved Mono/Poly.

I'm assuming all lettering is stick-ons, and not hand painted?

  5. Oh, hand painted would be nice... You have a Mono/poly? I am still waiting for mine to come!! It's been... erm, a month and a half and I haven't heard from the seller since... :S but I am giving him the benefit of the doubt...

  6. Apologies for the thread hijack.

Sonicbrat, yeah, the Mono/Poly is probably my fave mono synth - over the Arps and Moogs and Dave Smith goodies sitting around here. Hope you end up loving yours.

BTW, you'll quickly notice that it doesn't take much for a Mono/Poly vs Pro One argument to break out on the Internet .... still say it's apples and pears. The Pro One's a good synth, but apart from all the modulation capabilities on the Korg, it also can excude a wonderful mellowness. Some of us are going more for ABBA than Autechre, ya know.

  7. Wait a minute - that's no Poly Six... it's a STROMBERG!!!

    ;)
