"Here's a demo of a stock A6 mix patch with a touch of funky:
I've taken the 16 A6 discrete outputs and fed them into a cheap summing bus,
Then into a Chandler Germanium,
Then into a Compressor (cheap DBX 166xl)
Then into a MAM Resonator,
Then into a Compressor (it's all analog and mono up to this point),
Then into a ADC (Motu w/Blacklion),
Then into a Weiss DNA-1 (doing only a little ambiance regen),
Then into the Kyma (a touch of stereo tremolo & digital grit),
Then out to the net.
It's streaming from Radio Modular also.
Cheerio!"
Those headphones are actually pressing down on keys, along with a sustain switch, to keep the thing going :)
ReplyDeletethen it sounds bad
ReplyDeleteI aim to displease!
ReplyDeleteDoktor,
ReplyDeleteGood to hear your A6 rocking!! More, more!
DaleG
thats is fu*king AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteYes Dale G. Our recent exchange inspired me to play with it more :)
ReplyDeleteI've tweaked the live stream with an expander to better isolate things.
Maybe tomorrow I'll switch it to another A6 Preset (yay presets (and outboard processing too)).
(A6 effects are so crap)
Brilliant. The next broadcast should incorporate the Paia and a bowl of Paella.
ReplyDeleteGreat track!
ReplyDeleteYou use headphones to hold down notes, i use scotch tape ;)
if you're recording this, the final name for the recording should be the amount of your electric bill
