what does it do?
ReplyDeleteI had chicken vindaloo a few lagers the other night, and I sounded better than this. Actually it sounded about the same.
ReplyDeletethe cloxbox is a "clocking" device. it does not sound, it just let the midi clock divide from 1:1 to 1:128
ReplyDeleteMetasonix should invent a new line for this type of distortion.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty crazy distortion.
MIC CONDENSER OVERDRIVE FLAPPER
At Starbucks, it'd be a "Venti Flapperchino"
Why no Inseqt? God I want one (actually several). A clock divider makes no sound whatsoever. It takes a pulse and divides it down. That sound was coming from the Doepfer system to which the clock divider was connected.
ReplyDeleteThis device would be more interesting if the division was other than powers of 2.
Was that film clip from the movie Brazil??
ReplyDeleteWow, did they steal the name from the MIDIbox much?
