...Two of the things I've been intrigued by the most from the Messe in one picture - the MFB video module with the Steckbox sitting on the table. When are they coming out?
ReplyDeleteMore info on both please! Is that screen refresh rate slow or what?
Would the videoscope be able to be used in the US? I ask because the standard video format in most of Europe seems to be PAL, so I assume it would not work in the US or North America unless they also released a NTSC output version of it. Can somebody please clarify this for me. Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteWell you could get the Doepfer A-197-2 scope seen in top right of the photo posted here. That one has an LCD panel. Then again both scopes highlight the fact that both it and the MFB are pixelized just like the scopes found in low cost software programs though the hardware ones likely have a far greater range. Mainly I'm pointing out that vintage scopes are vector scopes where the electron beam is directly controlled by the signal rather than the more "digital" method of a pixel based raster graphic being drawn up X times a second
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if there are any screenshots of the output of this thing? Im planning some live shows soon, and a guy sat in a wall of electronics for 3 hours is a tad dull, maybe this module will spice it up for me??
