a description of the patch would be useful...how is it 'fractal'? what does it sound like?
ReplyDeleteOne 'fractal' example is to take a phrase and play it as whole notes for the bass register, half notes for the mid register and quarter notes for the high register...kind of a 1/f thing.

ReplyDeletefwiw, 1/f fractals are not based on the "mandelbrot equation" - as I remember it, it has to do with the number of iterations it takes to exceed a limit. I'm not sure how you patch that on a 2600, but would be happy to hear how.
