To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

Damn, that's purdy.
ReplyDeleteI probably shouldn't admit this, but I've got one of those, only without the F in the name. It's got the D and the disk drive, though.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know what the difference is between an FD and a D?
DX7S (S for "Single")
ReplyDeleteDX7 II D (D for "Dual" - ie bitimbral)
DXY II FD (F for "Floppy disk", D for "Dual")
So I guess mine must have been modded afterwards to add the drive, as the silk screen just says D, but it has the floppy drive.
ReplyDeleteYeah, guess so.
