ReplyDeleteI don't think it's a case of women having to "show their sexes to be noticed" to be quite honest. If artistic expression involves putting one's self out there and projecting a sexy image is a part of people's life, then what the hell is wrong? disapproving of it seems kind of a sexist point, as it kind of disregards any art coming from women as it should be all about sex anyway.

ReplyDeletewhat it comes down to is this. music should be HEARD. it shouldnt matter what the person who makes it looks like to be appreciated... or hated. of course in the real world thats not how it works, thanks to the superficiality of people. i have a certain musician friend who got into bands because he liked the way they looked. how lame.
