My favorite Numan track. So, anyone know what synth or synths were originally used? The Tops of the Pops version is obviously a lip sync to the original track which does sound like Oberheim to me.

    And saw that he listed me as an influence. I was blown away. He is a huge influence on me, and after all these years to hear him even utter my name really blew me away..

    It's almost entirely PPG, actually.

    Vinyl liner notes called it out, and if you download some of the extra PPG banks, they have a bunch of dead-on versions of the sounds.
